Anne Coffey is an artist who lives and creates along the shoreline in Branford, Connecticut. Anne loves to create collages, as well as paintings that contain bits of collage. When working in collage, she often uses papers that she has painted with watercolor or acrylic, or pieces of her monoprints, as well as found papers. Anne finds inspiration where she lives and in her travels—her garden, Long Island Sound, harbors, city skylines, music and poetry. Yet, at times, Anne finds merely the color and composition of paint and paper is enough to satisfy.
